The College of Agriculture, Golegaon at Tq. Aundha Dist. Hingoli was started in the year 2013, vide Gr. No. MKV-2011 / 341/Letter No80/7-A dated 04.06.2013.College of Agriculture Golegaon was also established to educate and disseminate need based agricultural technologies to the farming community of this region. The College is consistently working in education research and extension fields. Highly educated, qualified, teaching faculty, laboratories, planned farm structures, library etc. are the strengths of this college. The intake capacity of students is 60 students.

Highly educated, qualified, teaching faculty, well equipped laboratories, planned farm structures, high tech library etc. are the strengths of this college. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is a four year degree programme, the students were admitted by central online admission system formulated by MCAER, Pune. Total 69 students for four year degree programme were admitted during the academic year 2020-21. Among them ICAR 00, ST 02, SC 07, NT 10, OBC -15, OPEN -21, SBC-01, OS-01 students were admitted including poly agri students.
Rural Agricultural Work Experience and experiential learning programme promotes holistic higher agriculture education by blending knowledge, skill and attitude. During the academic year 2020-21, 41 students from VI semester were eligible for the RAWE programme for Monsoon 2020. The students were exposed to rural life and farming situations during a six month stay in adopted villages. The experiential learning programme is being implemented for VIII Semester for Summer 2020-21 and 37 students were eligible for ELP programme. Students to make them successful entrepreneurs in the area of the programme in College of Agriculture, Golegaon.
Library plays an important role in accumulation of knowledge and information to students, researchers and readers for updating knowledge etc. The college library provides facilities through different books, magazines, computers, newspapers, resource material etc.
Cultural activities like birth anniversaries of national leader's, patriots, social reformers were celebrated under Gymkhana activities. The Programmes like cleaning campaign, woman empowerment, tree plantation as been conducted by students at their villages during covid-19 situation.
During 2020-21 faculty members of this college have published fifteen research articles in reputed national and international journals. They also participated and presented research papers abstract in conferences, seminars and symposia etc.
