The staff of the Department of Agronomy is regularly participating in extension activities like farmers rally, crop demonstrations, farmers training, training to extension workers, monthly district workshop, diagnostic team, field visits etc. organized by Directorate of Extension Education, Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani, State Department of Agriculture, Co-operative Sugar factories, Banks, NGOS, Fertilizer, Pesticide, Herbicide, fungicide companies etc.

The staff of this department is regularly publishing the need based literature related to crop production and other management practices in daily newspapers and popular articles in different Journals.

The scientists are attending the programme of All India Radio as well as the programme relayed on E T V, Regional TV service.
