Department of Animal Husbandry & dairy Science at College of Agriculture, Golegaon has been functioning as an independent department since 2012, with establishment of this college.

This department monitor the undergraduate instructions. This Department has a mandate to carryout teaching and research in concerning agriculture and rural development. Accordingly, the Department has tailored teaching and research programmes to meet the challenges of post-economic liberalization era. The Department offers several compulsory core courses as well as advance elective and minor courses both at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
