The department of Agricultural Engineering was established as with establishment of college of Agriculture, Golegaon in 2012.
1. Monitor the undergraduate instructions programme.
2. Study of different Farm Machinery, Irrigation Practices, soil Conservation Practices, Solar Energy Application, Green House Technology & Post Harvest Management.
3. Planning & Monitoring of need based location specific Agricultural Engineering study in the college.
4. Planning & Monitoring of Transfer of Technology in Agricultural Engineering.
The under Graduate Programme in Agricultural Engineering Department was initiated during the year 2012 as offered by college of Agriculture, Golegaon. The Agricultural Engineering Department offers 14 Credits for B.Sc. (Agricultural )
The students would be attached / Placed with Agro - Industries including Cottage Industries and Commodities Boards for a period of four weeks to get exposure and an experience of the industrial environment and working. This will develop confidence and competence among the students.
