The learning process essential provides a direction to the students to think and act and eventually creates self-confidence. Realizing the need of acquisition of knowledge coupled with skills in the field of agriculture by the students of SAUs an innovative concept of Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) programme is introduced in the course curriculum of B. Sc. (Agri.) degree programme to the students of VII semester as practical training. The programme is aimed to make the students to live with the farmers in villages for one semester and to develop an understanding in them about rural community life and different situations prevailing in villages with special reference to agriculture.
